You soak into my heart just as ink rapidly permeates paper. It is a sensuous interactive video featuring the spreading of ink. The spreading of ink appears over the screen when brush strokes touch paper. The effect is maximized by editing and mirroring the images of ink spreading on paper. The spreading of ink unfurls fantastically when an Oriental painting is executed in elegant brush strokes. The minuteness of ink spreading on the screen is determined by the extent of the stroke. If a dot is applied, a simple mirrored image spreads from it. If a line is rendered, the spreading of ink is displayed as a linear image on the screen. The footage of more detailed video images appears when a practitioner paints more elaborate lines with the brush.

This footage features the fish market nearby the Cheonggye Stream. This beautiful video work is a kaleidoscopic representation of the flexible shape of fish scales. A dramatic scene unfolds as the music gradually rises. Cold colors turn harmoniously to warm colors as the music progresses.
